Life Aslpode
Well, first off I lost my job with Terminix on the first. I am not going to go in to all the gory details about it with this entry, suffice to say because and very minor accident in the snow back in December I got deemed an "unsafe driver" due to the unfair policies. My supervisor is resigning over this situation even. I will be getting excellent references from my supervisor and the branch manager of the Woburn office, plus I have seen the paperwork be sent in and will have no problem collecting unemployment. On to better news, I woke up this morning in my new place, the first floor of Ian, and Lis', house. I
still have a bunch of work to get done moving all my stuff out
but I am now sleeping in my new place, which has a working bath-
room (unlike my old one).
I should be fine and am looking as all this as more of an
opportunity than anything else. |

Off to visit my sister
Well I am flying out to Portland, OR latter today to visit my sister and her family. Looking forward to a good time and much fun (she has some very nice cats!) For those who have them I will be reachable via email and my cell phone. I will also hop on AIM from time to time (Bandersnatch DSA). I will also still be playing plenty of World of Warcraft, so you can also find me as Bowalk on the Twisting Nether server. (Go new laptop!) Happy Holidays to everyone and I'll be back next Monday in time for New Years. |

I am Off
Well in less than 3 hours I will be flying to the West coast. I am going to visit my sister and her family in Portland OR. I will have internet access so plan to post some from the road. I will also still be reading email if anyone needs to contact me. Till latter. Current Mood: excited |

Car Shopping
Well I havce gotten tired of dumping money in to my old Mazda and the driver's side window getting stuck down is the last straw. I am off to go car shopping this afternoon. Saturn of Medford has a good selection of used sedans in my price range so it should not be too difficult to find something. Also my father is going to come along to help. |

Work Goes Well
Well I am into my second week of training and things are going well. I should be getting my Certified Applicator license from the state any time now. I passed the test no problem my first time taking it. I had been told that it takes some people several tries to pass it, but hey, I am just that good. I mad myself useful to the branch manager last week helping him prepare for a big fumigation over the weekend. We fumigated the flour mill that provides 95% of the flour for New England. It was a lot of fun Friday working on the fourth floor of a build that we were sealing up in the middle of all that heat an humidity. Saturday was a much nicer day to be working out there. This week I have started ridding along with an experienced tech. Things are looking good. It sure feels good to be working again. |

Naked Chin
Well for my job at Terminix I need to shave my beard. So for the first time in years my chin and upper lip are naked. Despite not liking how it looks I don't mind it. Unlike some other companies with "clean shaven" policies, Terminix has the same reason as the Army for why you can't wear a beard, a respirator/protective mask needs to seal to the skin around your nose and mouth. |

Good News
Well after six months of unemployment I start work Monday. I will be working for Terminix, Commercial. Perhaps not the nicest work in the world, but they pay well and seem like good people over in the Newton office. I took the state licensing test last Friday, and feel confident that I passed. It feels good rejoining the work force |

Still Out Of Work
Well I have been out of work for about six months now. Now that I have gotten the depressing part out of the way, here is the real point of the post. What I really want to be doing is building custom computers for people and providing setup, trouble shooting, and repair services. I have already done some of this work and really liked it. What I am looking for is suggestions of ways/places to advertise my services in the Boston area. |

The League
Just got back from seeing The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I liked it. It was fun despite its problems and not being that much like the comic. I have one thing to say though (this is mostly directed at a certain Agent Sawyer). One should never place ones hands over the muzzle of a cocked and locked elephant gun. |

Soon to be Shorn
Well I have decided to cut my hair. I have been thinking of doing it for awhile now. I am going to do today. It partly have to do with job hunting (I may go back to security work). In general I have been less than happy with my current long hair. I am going have some pics taken before I cut my hair. |

In Loving Memory of My Cat Leroy
 Leroy died this winter, age 19, after a long battle with renal failure. We think it was intestinal cancer that got him in the end though. Yesterday I helped my parents bury his ashes. He was a very affectionate cat, in his own quirky way. I miss him very much, along with the two other cats, Christopher and Cecil, my family had. |

Intel Chanel Conference
Well I am off to the Intel Chanel Conference. It is an event Intel holds in a bunch of cities for its Reseller Chanel Partners. It is a marketing/informations event with presentations on Intel's current and upcoming technology. The big thing is there are plenty of give aways, including a bunch of processors. They feed us too. Need to run, I'll update on how it goes tonight. |
